Live outside of Auckland and can't make it into the TCRB studio? We got you gal!

Our Postal Try On service gives our out of Auckland gals a convenient way to try up to 3 dresses from the comfort of your own home before committing to an event rental.

Whether you're unsure on sizing, stuck between a few faves or just want the peace of mind of trying her on first, you can have your picks sent straight to your door, have a little fashion show at home and find THE ONE without making the trip to Auckland.

Postal Try Ons are available by request only and are carefully worked around our existing rental bookings

Is a Postal Try On for me? 💌

Postal Try Ons are designed for our gals who live outside of Auckland and can't make it into the TCRB studio.

Before popping through a request, make sure:

💗 Your event is at least 2 weeks away. We recommend requesting your Postal Try On 2–3 weeks before your event, as the more time we have to work around existing rentals, the better chance we'll have of fitting your try on in!

💗 You live more than 45km from TCRB. If you're within 45km, our in store try on appointments are the way to go! Exceptions may be considered at our discretion.

💗 You have a non rural delivery address. Rural addresses aren't available for Postal Try Ons, but you're welcome to use a non rural work, friend or whānau address instead. Your Postal Try On must still be returned within 24 hours of delivery, regardless of how far you need to travel to get to an NZ Post location.

💗 You're requesting up to 3 dresses. You can submit one Postal Try On request per week, with up to 3 dresses in that request.

💗 Trying for more than one event? That's totally fine! You can include dresses for multiple event dates in the same request and save yourself another round of postage.

What does a Postal Try On cost? 💌

Postal Try Ons are 50% of the standard rental price per dress + return postage.

While your dresses are only with you for a quick try on, there's still a whole lot happening behind the scenes! Every Postal Try On is individually reviewed, checked, steamed, prepared, security tagged and packed before heading your way, with all the admin, temporary booking holds and tracking taken care of in between. Once she arrives back at TCRB, each dress is inspected, cleaned, steamed and prepared all over again ready for the next gal.

It's a pretty hands on little service, created especially for our gals who can't make it into the TCRB studio 💗

Once everything is safely back, unworn, on time and with all security tags and ribbons intact, you'll also receive $10 TCRB credit per dress to use towards a future rental.

Try 1 = $10 credit

Try 2 = $20 credit

Try 3 = $30 credit

Okay, how does it work? 👀

1. Tell me what you wanna try!

Fill out the request form below with your event date(s) and up to 3 dresses you'd like to try. Different sizes or dresses for multiple events are absolutely fine!

2. Leave it with me 💌

Postal Try Ons are worked around our confirmed rentals, which always come first. Each week I'll review requests once I know which dresses are safely back, available and have enough time before their next booking.

Submitting a request doesn't guarantee a Postal Try On, but I'll always do my best to make it work!

3. Approved? YAY!

If your dresses are good to go, I'll email you a private 50% off Postal Try On code and a booking cut off for that week.

Book your dresses through the website using your code and select the postage option specified in your email. Once paid, I'll temporarily hold your dress/es for your actual event date.

4. She's on her way! 📦

Postal Try Ons will generally head out Wednesday afternoon, targeted to arrive overnight.

They'll arrive with security tags (and yes, I mean actual retail security tags hehe) and ribbons attached, which must stay on at all times.

5. Try them on! 💃

Try them on, take pics, consult the group chat and hopefully find THE ONE!

They're strictly for trying on only and must remain unworn with all security tags and ribbons attached.

6. Found THE ONE?! ⭐️

Let me know within 24 hours of delivery if you'd like to book one for your event.

If it's a yes, I'll keep your event date held while your Postal Try On makes its way back to me. Once it's safely back and passes inspection, I'll remove the hold so you can jump online and book her!

If I don't hear from you within 24 hours, the hold will be released and availability is no longer guaranteed.

7. Send her home 💌

Your Postal Try On must be handed over to NZ Post within 24 hours of delivery using the prepaid return label provided. Saturday delivery = return by 4pm Monday.

All dresses must be returned unworn, on time and with all security tags and ribbons intact. If the return timeframe or Postal Try On conditions aren't followed, you may be charged the remaining full rental cost.

8. A lil treat for next time 💗

Once everything is safely back and passes inspection, you'll receive $10 TCRB credit per dress to use towards a future rental.

1 dress = $10

2 dresses = $20

3 dresses = $30

  2. Wait while I check availability around existing rentals.
  3. Book using your private 50% off code if approved.
  4. Receive your dresses at home.
  5. Try on your picks, unworn with all tags and ribbons intact.
  6. Choose your fave and let me know if you've found THE ONE!
  7. Return everything to NZ Post within 24 hours of delivery.
  8. Inspection once everything arrives safely back at TCRB.
  9. Book your fave once I've removed the temporary hold.
  10. Receive $10 TCRB credit per dress for a future rental.

A few important bits 👀

💌 Postal Try Ons are request only. Submitting the form doesn't guarantee your request will be accepted. Confirmed rentals always come first, and requests may also be declined depending on timing, availability or our capacity that week.

📦 NZ Post is targeted overnight, never guaranteed. Courier delays are unfortunately outside of our control, which is why we'll only send your Postal Try On when we're comfortable there's enough time for her to make the trip both ways.

🎟️ Gift vouchers can be used towards a Postal Try On, however store credit, discount codes and other offers cannot. Your $10 Postal Try On credit also can't be used towards another Postal Try On.

🙅‍♀️ Changed your mind? If your Postal Try On hasn't been sent yet and you've given us enough notice, we can cancel your booking with a $15 cancellation fee deducted from your refund. Once your parcel has been sent, your Postal Try On is non refundable.

📬 Something not right when she arrives? Any damage, missing or tampered security tags/ribbons, or other issues need to be reported to TCRB on the day your parcel is delivered, preferably with photos.

🛍️ Lost or damaged your return bag? Let us know straight away. You'll be responsible for purchasing suitable replacement packaging and providing us with the new tracking number. Your normal return deadline still applies.

⏰ Late is late. Our standard $25 per day late fee applies to Postal Try Ons too. If your return timeframe or Postal Try On conditions aren't followed, you may also be charged the remaining full rental cost.

📮 Please actually collect your parcel! If your parcel isn't collected or received due to something on your end, it's treated the same as a standard rental. Your Postal Try On is still considered sent and any additional courier or redelivery costs are your responsibility.
